HIccup's Gender Reveal Party
Jason picked up the cupcakes yesterday from the bakery. Everyone met at our house at 3pm to find out if Baby #3 is a boy or a girl. This is new for us because we waited to find out with both Nash and Nolan. We thought it might be fun to try something a little different this time.
We counted to three then everyone took a big bite of cupcake...BLUE FILLING!
We are having another boy! I think the news is still sinking in but I can't wait to have some crazy fun raising three boys!

Happy 60th Birthday Nana!
Nana turned 60 on March 21st. Her sisters came to surprise her and we met for lunch. But she didn't know that we had many more surprises in store for her.
It was such a fun day and my Mom was so happy to have so many of her friends and family together to celebrate with her. Happy 60th Birthday Mom!

Baby W #3 - 20 Weeks
Half way there! We are at 20 weeks now. In some ways I can't believe it's here but on the other hand, we still have 20 weeks to go. It's OK though, I'm feeling good. Big, but good.
We had our ultrasound and asked the tech to write down the sex of the baby and seal it in an envelope.
Hiccup was moving around quite a bit even though I wasn't feeling a lot of movement so that made me feel better. The heartbeat was 145 beats per minute.

We've decided to take the envelope to a bakery and have them fill a dozen cupcakes with either pink or blue, depending on what the paper in the envelope says. We will have a party with family to find out the sex of the baby this time.

Open wide!
Nash and Nolan had dentist appointments with Dr. Chris. Nash did great and got to pick out a new blue dolphin toothbrush when he was done. It was Nolan's first visit so basically they just wanted to get him used to sitting in the chair and count his teeth. He sat in the chair before Dr. Chris came out but then wanted nothing to do with it when it was his turn. I had to hold him and he cried the whole time. He has 16 teeth but his four, 2 year molars are very close to popping through. Nolan picked out a bright pink toothbrush when he was done.
Dr. Chris said neither boys have any cavities but we should probably start an orthodontist fund. Sounds about right since Jason and I both had braces when we were younger.

Early Spring!
The weather has been crazy warm lately and we are loving it! I'm talking about record highs in the 70s and low 80s in March! It is so nice to open up all of the windows and get some fresh air circulating through this house. We are spending lots of time playing outside and we've already used the grill a few times.

Nash's 4 year checkup
Nash had his 4 year checkup yesterday. Dr. Bob was gone so we saw his nurse practitioner, Gina. She was great. Nash weighs 35.4 pounds and is 40.5 inches tall. He had to get one vaccination and I decided to wait on the other two since he doesn't need them right away. It was more traumatic for him than I expected it to be. His pain subsided when we went to Toys R Us so he could spend his birthday gift card from Grandma and Grandpa Wentland. He picked out a 4 pack of transformers, a gel skin for his LeapPad, and a pad of paper to practice writing his name.
Waterlogged
Last weekend we kidnapped Nana and took her with us to Omaha for Titan Family Weekend. Actually, it's a tradition to take her along with us and she came willingly. It was a pretty long drive but we stopped in Des Moines to break up the trip a little bit. We ran into a little bit of snowy weather on the way but not too bad. Titan has a family weekend at three different locations and there were about 2000 people just in Omaha. Pretty big. Friday night we went to dinner and to the ice cream social. Saturday we spent the whole morning at the water park inside the hotel so the boys were loving life.
Saturday night Jason and I went to the employee awards banquet and dinner. They had a comedian magician for entertainment and Jason received an award for Market Share. Yay!
While we were at the banquet, the boys and Nana stayed back in the room. The boys had a blast playing in the big tub. They had a pillow fight with Nana before crashing for the night.
Nash loves to draw and write. This is a picture that he drew of me while we were at the banquet. So cute.
Sunday morning we ate breakfast and hit up the water part again for an hour or so. We had such a fun time and of course it went by too fast. Unfortunately, we ran into more snow and ice on the way home. We saw about 30 cars in the ditch and lots of emergency vehicles out helping people. At one point we were at a dead stop on the interstate for about 45 minutes because of a semi accident. We finally made it home around 7pm, exhausted but safe and sound.

Post It Notes and Quotes
**I finally felt Hiccup move for sure on Thursday, March 1 at 17.5 weeks. I kept thinking I should be feeling movement earlier than that but maybe I was just anxious. It's one of the best parts about being pregnant in my opinion. I still don't feel the baby move a ton, but every once in a while I can tell there's some action going on in there. This week Baby Center says baby is the size of a green pepper weighing 7 oz. I feel big compared to where I think I was with Nash and Nolan. I'm blaming the Girl Scouts. And I have candy cravings again like I did with Nash.
**I have to share some cute quotes from Nash recently. He comes up with the funniest stuff...
Nash: Mom, Nolan calls me Dash
Me: I know, isn't that cute?
Nash: Mom, it's not cute. Baby animals are cute.

Jason and the boys were playing Hide and Go Seek in the house the other day. Jason found the boys pretty quickly one time.
Nash: Dad, you are a really good finder. Did you smell us?
