LOST!

May digital camera broke last week and as you can imagine...I'm lost without it.  I think I might upgrade to a nicer camera with quick shutter speed and lots of zoom.  I think that might come in handy for taking pictures of kids...especially when Jason signs Nash up for soccer one of these days.  :0)  I don't know a lot about cameras but I've been doing a little bit of research.  I'm a little overwhelmed and not quite sure which one is right for me.  I'm hoping the experts at the camera store can help me make a good choice.  I think I'll go tonight so I don't miss any more "kodak moments!"

A Visit from Great Grandma Erna

Great Grandma Erna came to Iowa for a week at the beginning of July to spend some time with us and we had such a great time with her.  We went to a water ski show, went for a pontoon ride, visited the Family Museum, went out for dinner, fed the ducks in the Mississippi and of course, read lots of BOOKS!  We miss her already!

July Bump

These pictures were taken on July 8th at 19 weeks along.  Bump is growing!  We had our ultrasound on Friday, July 10th.  We weren't supposed to have it until 20 weeks but Jason convinced the doctors to let us have it a little early so that Great Grandma Erna could be with us.  She flew in from Minnesota on July 5th and loved being here for the ultrasound.  I'll try to figure out how to post the ultrasound pictures later.  Anyway, I have been feeling good except I'm still very tired.  I think thats mostly from chasing around a 16 1/2 month old though.  Plus I'm not really sleeping very well.  I get up between one and three times a night to use the ladies room and I have restless legs again.  I had it with Nash too...it's terribly frustrating.  The doctor suggested a magnesium supplement but she's making no guarantees.  I haven't tried it yet.  A few weeks ago I started feeling Baby W#2 move around but recently the kicking started. It's not strong enough that Jason can feel it yet but I don't think it will be long.  That's the one thing I was really looking forward too again.  Jason is convinced we are having a girl but I'm not so sure yet.  Guess we will find out in late Nov or early Dec!

Happy 4th of July!!!

We spent the 3rd and 4th of July in Grand Mound, Iowa.  Where else would you spend Independence Day?  We went to two parades, ate a ton of food and watched the best fireworks in the state!  Nash watched half of the fireworks then drifted off to sleep in the middle of the show.
