Nana, Don't Go!!

Before Nash was born, Nana was deciding whether or not she would watch him a few days a week once I went back to work.  Her only concern was that at some point, he wouldn't be excited to see her anymore.  No worries Nana.  Definitely not the case.  Both boys still get super excited every time she walks in the door.  And as you can see, they don't want to let her go either!

Summer Fun

Nolan borrowed a purple floaty from our neighbor girl.

Nash loves the water

Nolan showing his fearless side.
A few weeks ago our neighbors invited us out to the country club to swim.  We had a blast soaking up the sun.  Both boys jumped off the diving board for the first time.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

These are too funny not to post.  As you can see, Nash is still very easily distracted during his tee ball games.  Nolan sits on the sidelines asking multiple times if the game is over so he can go run the bases.
I agree Nash, someone should do something about those weeds!

Game over...my turn!

Put me in coach!

Baby #3 - 32 weeks

32 down...8 to go!  Hiccup is extremely active, especially at bedtime.  As I am typing he is doing flip after flip  inside my tummy.  I love it.  Like I said before, feeling him move is definitely my favorite part of being pregnant.  All of the other stuff isn't quite as fun, but it will all be worth it when we get to finally meet him.  We are so excited to add another boy to the bunch.
Today I got together with four friends for a baby "sprinkle."  It's a like a shower only smaller.  :0)  Between the 5 of us, we have 9 kids and two on the way.  We met up for brunch and enjoyed 2 hours and 15 minutes of girl time.  It was awesome!  I love hanging out with these ladies!

Post-it Notes

**Nash finished his first year of pre-school last week.  He's having a hard time wrapping his head around the idea that he doesn't have school again until August.
**We've been plugging away at potty training for the last 5 months with Nolan.  I think we gave it a good run.  He's in pull-ups now...I surrendered.
**Nash's favorite thing to say to me lately..."Awe Mom, you never let me..." fill in the blank with pretty much anything.
**Nolan's vocabulary has really grown.  I just noticed the past week or two that he is picking up on things I've never heard him say before.  "Shake your booty." "Mom, you need this remote?" "Mom, pull me up." "Where going?"
**31 weeks pregnant.  9 weeks until my due date.  I went ahead and scheduled my c-section.  8.5 weeks until surgery...unless Hiccup decides to come early like his big brother Nash did.
**Both boys love to color, play with playdough, wrestle, read books, watch Diego, swim, and jump on the neighbors trampoline.
**I can't remember if I've posted before that Nash is no longer taking naps for the most part.  The good thing is that he crashes really quickly once he's in bed at night.  Nolan still takes an afternoon nap.  He would sleep 3 hours some days if we let him.  We have been trying to keep his naps short though because he is not ready to go to sleep at bedtime.

Quotes from Nash

We were driving around the other day and smelled something stinky...
Nash:  Mom, what is that stinky smell?
Me:  I don't know hun.  It smells like someone is burning something.
Nash:  Nolan! Are you burning?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nash was talking to my belly and did not think Hiccup could hear him well enough.  He took my head in his hands, opened my mouth wide, and began speaking loudly into my mouth so Hiccup could hear him better.  That has become his new way to communicate with his little bro.

Crime Fighters

The boys have been showing interest in superheroes lately.  I was browsing Pinterest the other day and found a "no sew" way to make capes.  They were a big hit!
