Nyle Steven - 3 months!

On Thursday Nyle turned 3 months old!  Pretty hard to believe but I wouldn't change a thing.  He is so smiley and starting to coo a little more now.  Size 6 month clothes are a little roomy but most comfy.  This past week or two he has only been waking up once at night which is so wonderful!  He usually sleeps beside me in our bed.  I've put him in the pack n play a few times and he does alright but just seems to be more content next to me.  I'm not in a rush to make it stop.  I love the snuggles and I know it won't last forever.

Such a handsome little man.  We love you to pieces Nyle Steven!

Trick or Treat!

Nash went to a Halloween party at our neighbor Noah's house last Sunday.  Nolan had to miss out since he was sick the day before.  They played some fun games and ate some yummy treats.

Wednesday was the big day for trick or treating and thankfully Nolan recovered quickly.   Nash got to dress up for preschool and decided to be an Iowa Hawkeye football player (the teacher discouraged fighting action figures).

Nash and Nolan went trick or treating with Jason.  I held down the fort and passed out candy.  It was chilly!  Nana, Papa, Nini and Eggroll kept us company.

Grandpa Steve

Grandpa Steve came for a very quick visit last weekend from California.  He arrived on Thursday evening and on Friday morning we took off to drive up north to visit Great Grandma Erna.  It had been way too long since we last saw her.  It's about a 6 hour trip and we surprisingly made it right around there even with three kids in tow.

We took Grandma Erna out to dinner that evening and then out for breakfast Friday morning.  We said our goodbyes around noon on Friday.  We had such a great visit with her and hope to get up there to see her again soon.  We took a little side trip to the Mall of America while we were up north.  I thought the boys would like to see Lego Land.  They loved it!

Nash again.  Nolan can be quite stubborn when it comes to pictures!
We were there probably an hour or a little more and decided to grab something to eat.  Here's where things turned sour.  Nolan yacked in the food court and quickly ended our side trip.  We went back to the hotel and the boys played with their new Ninjagos.

Nolan ended up getting sick again at breakfast and about 4 more times on the way home.  Poor guy.  Miraculously, no one else got whatever he had.  Grandpa Steve left Sunday morning so it was a very quick trip but we had a great time with him.  Thanks so much for making the trip!

Pumpkins with the Punkins

Sunday was such a nice day.  A great day for the pumpkin patch!  Nana, Papa, Will, Daniele, and Claire met us there.  It was a popular place to be!  The boys loved feeding the goats and watching the bunnies.

We were happy to run into our friends the Kies family.  Maddox and Kennon helped the boys feed the goats.

Quotes from Nash

Nolan was watching an episode of Ninjagos (ninja legos) on my iPhone.  Nash says, "Mom, I want to watch the one with the music.  It's really far from the one wear Zane reaches his true potential."

HUH!?  The boy is crazy for Ninjagos!

So long soccer!

Nash had quite the cheering section for his final soccer game on Saturday.

Nolan's bum eye occurred on Friday when he attempted to duck under the train table bridge at the family museum when it came loose and fell on his face.  Not good but he's a tough guy!

Great season Nash!  I had so much fun watching you.
