ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Nolan and Papa
I had to share this adorable picture my mom took.  Nash and Nolan spent the night with them and Nolan unfortunately had a coughing fit in the middle of the night.  He and Papa ended up camping out on the couch.

HIccup's Gender Reveal Party

Jason picked up the cupcakes yesterday from the bakery.  Everyone met at our house at 3pm to find out if Baby #3 is a boy or a girl.  This is new for us because we waited to find out with both Nash and Nolan.  We thought it might be fun to try something a little different this time.

We skyped in Grama Jo so she could also be a part of the fun.

We counted to three then everyone took a big bite of cupcake...BLUE FILLING!

We are having another boy!  I think the news is still sinking in but I can't wait to have some crazy fun raising three boys!

We celebrated for a while then Nini and Eggroll had to head home.  Great Grandma Phyliss, Nana, Papa, Claire, Will and Daniele stayed to grill out and enjoy the warm weather.

Happy 60th Birthday Nana!

Nana turned 60 on March 21st.  Her sisters came to surprise her and we met for lunch.  But she didn't know that we had many more surprises in store for her.
Happy Birthday Nana

Friday two of her friends and I went to the Casting Crowns concert together.  Her friend Carolyn picked her up and brought her to the restaurant where Mom's friend Lynn and I were waiting for them.  Mom didn't know Lynn and I were coming.  Her friend Judy surprised her at the concert too.  We had told my mom that Daniele, Whit and I were taking her to Galena on Saturday.  She was super excited to find out the next morning that Judy and Lynn were also joining us.  My two aunts also came back to surprise her and join us on the trip.
Once we arrived in Galena, Mom's friend Marie surprised her and met up with us.  We ate and shopped and laughed all day.
We had set up dinner reservations for 5pm and had another surprise waiting there.  My dad, my brother, Claire, Eggroll, Nash, Nolan, and Lynn's husband Al were waiting for us at the restaurant.  Mom was SO surprised!

It was such a fun day and my Mom was so happy to have so many of her friends and family together to celebrate with her.  Happy 60th Birthday Mom!

Baby W #3 - 20 Weeks

Half way there!  We are at 20 weeks now.  In some ways I can't believe it's here but on the other hand, we still have 20 weeks to go.  It's OK though, I'm feeling good.  Big, but good.

We had our ultrasound and asked the tech to write down the sex of the baby and seal it in an envelope.
Hiccup was moving around quite a bit even though I wasn't feeling a lot of movement so that made me feel better.  The heartbeat was 145 beats per minute.

We've decided to take the envelope to a bakery and have them fill a dozen cupcakes with either pink or blue, depending on what the paper in the envelope says.  We will have a party with family to find out the sex of the baby this time.

A Sea of Green

We took the boys to the St. Patrick's Day Parade this year since the weather was SO nice.  I think it might have hit 80 degrees.

Open wide!

Nash and Nolan had dentist appointments with Dr. Chris.  Nash did great and got to pick out a new blue dolphin toothbrush when he was done.  It was Nolan's first visit so basically they just wanted to get him used to sitting in the chair and count his teeth.  He sat in the chair before Dr. Chris came out but then wanted nothing to do with it when it was his turn.  I had to hold him and he cried the whole time.  He has 16 teeth but his four, 2 year molars are very close to popping through.  Nolan picked out a bright pink toothbrush when he was done.

Dr. Chris said neither boys have any cavities but we should probably start an orthodontist fund.  Sounds about right since Jason and I both had braces when we were younger.

Meeting Baby Claire

The boys finally got to meet Cousin Claire at our March Birthday dinner at Granite City.  When she arrived, both boys ran over the see her.  Nash absolutely adores her.  He kept commenting about how cute she is.  "Mom, you were right.  She is SO cute!"  He wanted to sit by her at dinner and be right next to whoever was holding her.
