Nolan Jace - 2 years old

Where do I begin?  I can't even believe my little man is 2 already.  He is growing up so fast.  He loves to run and follow his big brother "Dash" around.  He loves trains and trucks and likes to do puzzles.  He likes to read books and sing songs.  He is absolutely fearless.  He strives to be independent but needs to be reminded to ask for help rather than whining.  His favorite movie is "Finding Nemo."  He likes to play catch and has quite an arm.  He throws a lot with his left hand.  His vocabulary is growing and just the past few days he has started to put three words together. This morning he said, "Nana, help me" as he was hanging over the back of the sofa.  Other words and phrases:  C'mon, don't like it, same same, match, bumblebee, outside, sit Nini, read book, open, shut, ready set go, big shark, octopus, choo choo, my seat.  With a little help, he can count to twenty.  When he smiles, his whole face smiles and melts my heart.  He still has that belly laugh when he is being tickled, the kind that makes you smile no matter what mood you are in.  He has a stubborn streak and has recently started yelling "NO!" at the top of his lungs when he is not happy about something.  It's usually when he's tired and it doesn't last long, which is nice.  He takes one nap in the afternoon, sometimes 3 hours at a time.  He sleeps with his blue blanket and his "boppy."  He likes fruits and veggies and will eat a whole can of mandarin oranges or peaches for breakfast.  In January our plan is to tackle potty training and getting rid of "boppy."  Something tells me Nolan is going to be more of a challenge than Nash was.  Noley Bear, you are such a blessing to us.
