Noley, 

It's been fun watching you grow and learn along the way.  You are the sweetest, most sensitive little man much of the time and quite a stubborn, little stinker every once in a while.  But no matter what, we love you to pieces all of the time.  You have such an excitement for life.  You like monster trucks, baby rhinos, dinosaur egg oatmeal, puzzles, ninja turtles, mini muffins, and wrestling with your big brother.  When we say prayers before a meal, you always insist on praying for your toothbrush.  You are a night owl.  Many nights you are up after your brothers are asleep, hanging out with Mom and Dad and sneaking in some alone time.  I do cherish that time with you.  In fact, as I am typing this, you are perched on the armrest next to me talking about blowing kisses and seriously melting my heart.  You have such good manners for a four year old.  Daddy and I are so proud of you Bear.  We are so thankful God gave us you!

Happy Superhero Birthday Nolan!

Nolan turned 3 on December 5th!  We had his party a few days early so Grama Jo could join the fun too.  On Sunday, we celebrated superhero style!  Warning:  Lots of pictures ahead!

Dear Nolan,

You are becoming so independent and you make us laugh every day.  Your vocabulary is growing rapidly.  You are a bit of a dare devil but you don't like getting your hands dirty.  You love books and puzzles and playing games on my iPhone.  You like trucks, trains, and construction equipment and playing with your animals.  You can throw a pretty good temper tantrum.  I love your giggles and the excitement you show when experiencing something new.  You are such an amazing little guy and we love you to pieces.  Happy Birthday Noley Bear!

Bath Buddies

The boys love taking baths.  Especially in the big bathtub in the master bathroom.  It's deeper than the other bathtub but unfortunately, there is not shower curtain to shield me from the random sprays of water that shoot my way.  No matter what I do, I need an extra towel to soak up the water that doesn't stay in the tub.  Usually it occurs when Nolan stands up and body slams himself back into the water laughing the whole time.  Bath time usually ends shortly after this activity begins.
